Ingredients for 8 servings:
1 tsp. Big Pete's Cannabutter
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp sugar (optional)
1 3/4 cups buttermilk
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease or line a baking sheet.
Sift flour, baking soda, and salt into a large bowl. Stir in sugar if desired.
Make a well in the center; add melted cannabutter and buttermilk. Stir to form a dough.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead gently for about a minute until it forms a smooth ball. Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Cut a deep X into the top to help the bread bake evenly.
Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and hollow- sounding when tapped.
Let cool on a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature, ideally with butter.
