Candy Cane Cupcakes with Cannabutter

Best Holiday Cupcakes EVER!!!


This year, bring your favorite stoners a holiday dessert that is sure to be a hit. These sweet things are Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting drizzled with Cannabutter infused White Chocolate and topped with crumbled candy canes.


Easy Bake Goodness 


Here at Big Pete’s Treats we know the value of an easy recipe. For these cupcakes we used Duncan Hines’ Red Velvet mix and substituted Cannabutter for the oil. 1/4 cup of the good stuff!





Ingredients:

1 box Red Velvet Cupcake mix

2 eggs

1 cup of water

1/4 cup (one whole container) Cannabutter 

cream cheese frosting 

white chocolate chips 

six candy canes 

Directions: 

Preheat oven to 350

Empty dried ingredients in a large bowl 

Microwave Cannabutter to melt into a liquid 

Add eggs, water, and Cannabutter to dry ingredients and mix until smooth

Add batter to cupcake pan lined with papers

Bake for 12-18 minutes or until a toothpick will come out clean after inserting into middle of a cupcake 

Allow to cool completely on a rack

Frost with cream cheese frosting (we used a plastic bag and cut a hole in the corner to pipe the frosting onto the cakes)

Place 1 cup of white chocolate chips in a bowl with one tablespoon of Cannabutter 

Microwave to soften and stir until melted. You can add a little milk to make it drizzle better 

Drizzle melted white chocolate over the cupcakes 

Place candy canes in a plastic bag and crush with a bowl until they are in smaller pieces 

Sprinkle the crushed candy canes on top!!!
